I just bought a new Squirrel-proof feeder and hung it up on my feeder pole. It works great against my Gray squirrels but the chipmunks still get to the feed. What do I do? They eat all of the food before my poor birds can get any!
Thanks for any help!
Don’t fight with Mother Nature……..put out more feed and make it easy for other critters to feed and you will laugh at their antics over time. I have counted thirty + squirrels at one time in my feed area this winter several different days. Wildlife puts on a good show all the time. Wait till momma bear with three little cubs stops at your feeder . Animals are smart and fascinating to watch.
I agree with Gene’s post, You should allow other pests to feed on the food you kept for your Squirrel. Well, last summer holidays when I went to my granny’s home, I found she has kept the similar type of Squirrel Net in the garden area. But later on I also found that the food was attracting other pests like Ants, Fire Ants, Rodents etc.. Which were not allowing Squirrel to have a proper feed. So to eradicate the pests one of her neighbour suggested her to call the best pest control Folsom and to take some helpful guidance from them.
